The SINA philosophy in practice
Learn by doing the real thing.
Fount Hub is a SINA community in Burundi made for momentum. Young people enter through The Forge, then can experience Fount Hub for up to one year. Community life, practical skills, and social enterprise keep the energy moving.
Skills grow when you use them. At Fount Hub, taking a role in the community, working with others, and testing an idea are part of learning itself. The SINA philosophy connects that work to personal growth and enterprises that respond to local needs.
Through shared agreements and real roles, people learn to run things together. Responsibilities such as logistics, budgets, and community meetings become opportunities to practice trust, communication, and accountability.

Empowerment
Young people explore their strengths, question limiting beliefs, and connect their purpose to practical work. They build confidence by making decisions, learning skills, and taking responsibility.

Enterprise
Participants work on problems they know, listen to people affected by them, form teams, and test possible solutions. The goal is to develop social enterprises that can sustain themselves and create meaningful work.
Freedom joined with responsibility. SINA calls this freesponsibility. A community role is part of the classroom: people practice decisions, see their effects, and learn together.

The entry program to Fount Hub
Start with The Forge.
The Forge is a 20-day intensive that introduces young people to the learning, responsibility, and enterprise work of Fount Hub.
A recent Forge program took place in Magara. After The Forge, young people can experience the Fount Hub community for up to one year, practicing responsibility, skills, and enterprise through the SINA philosophy.

After studying ICT management, Tatiana came to Fount Hub to strengthen her digital skills and pursue more sustainable work. She took part in Microsoft Office and Google Essentials classes.

What does the SINA Framework mean in practice?
Community, Empowerment, and Enterprise shape the whole journey. People learn by taking real community roles, developing personally and professionally, and testing ideas for social enterprises. SINA calls the connection between freedom and responsibility freesponsibility.
Does every idea become an enterprise?
Ideas need to be tested and developed. Enterprise creation and meaningful work are goals of the model; a cohort attendance figure or an idea count does not establish that those outcomes have been achieved.
